Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This memorial website was created in the memory of our father, Rafael Ramon Prestol who was born in Dominican Republic on May 31, 1937 and passed away on November 05, 2009 at the age of 72. We will remember him forever.

Rafael Ramon Prestol, born May 31, 1937 in the Dominican Republic. His parents were Rafael Ernesto Prestol Botello and Quisqueya Maria Guerrero Rijo. He was brought to the United States in the year 1950 by his mother. As a teen, he lived in the West Village of New York City. He was very dedicated to his church Saint Lukes where he was an altar boy under the priesthood of Father Leach.
He learned the English language very quickly and well. Everywhere he went he was loved by those who knew him. He was very caring. He was always there to help those in need. He was a very hard working person. He also liked playing softball where he was a pitcher for many years for the All Stars in downtown New York. He was very dedicated to his mother whom he loved very much. He was very respectful to his mother and to those around him. At the age of 18 he married Paula Vaillant with whom he had four children : Rafael Reinaldo Prestol, Raul Prestol, Nelson Prestol, and Lourdes Prestol. Six years later he married Aura Altagracia de la Hoz with whom he had three more children: Rafael Antonio Prestol, Ana Maria Prestol, and Linda Prestol. All totaling seven children.
He leaves behind 32 grandchildren, who are currently between the ages of 11 months old to 31 years and 18 great grandchildren.
He lived the last 8 years of his life in Florida with his wife Tati whom he loved with all his heart. At the age of 72, he passed away into eternity to be with the Lord Jesus Christ whom he accepted as his Lord and Savior. He is no longer here on this earth, but he will never be forgotten. He will always be remembered and cherished by those that knew him.
